 Jesus performed miracles in conjunction with His teachings to show He was indeed God and as such He had power over nature, demons and even death.

In the Gospel of Matthew (9:35-36) it records that Jesus went through all the towns and villages teaching and healing every disease and sickness. - This passage confirms Jesus performed more miracles than are recorded in the Bible.

Still more confirmation of additional Miracles can be found in John 21:25 - "Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written."
